I request a code of courtesy, etiquette & honour. It is crucial that a student abides by this.

When addressing the Instructor, it is Sifu Rob. Please ensure that you address Instructors of other martial systems by their correct title. There are two Senior Students, Dan Dorrington & Rob Marlow. They are referred to as Sihing unless they suggest otherwise. If in doubt, please ask.

When you pair-off with a training partner, it is courteous to bow to each other prior to the drill exercise, and when at the end.

A student's conduct is CRUCIAL both in and out of training. Not only does this apply in face-to-face communications but also in emails/ written correspondence, such as for example addressing Martial Art instructors of other disciplines &/ or conducting themselves within the general nature of 'day-to-day'.  You are Modern Warriors with entrenched traditional values.

My students are Ambassadors of the Ho Yiu Fay Academy & are encouraged to take heed of the above.
